First Consulting Group (FCG) extends our sincere congratulations to Mr. L.H.Đ. for successfully having his motion to terminate deportation proceedings approved by the Immigration Court. Mr. L.H.Đ. is now legally permitted to remain in the United States and continue his U.S. immigration process.
Mr. L.H.Đ. entered the United States on a tourist visa and subsequently filed his first adjustment of status application for a green card through marriage. Unfortunately, his application was denied by USCIS due to a failure to submit sufficient requested evidence. Consequently, he fell out of status and overstayed his visa. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) then issued a Notice to Appear (NTA), initiating deportation proceedings and requiring Mr. Đ. to appear in immigration court.
The NTA required Mr. L.H.Đ. to attend a court hearing within one month. However, the greatest challenge was that by the time Mr. Đ. officially contacted and retained First Consulting Group for legal representation against deportation, only 15 days remained. In such an emergency situation, finding a professional immigration legal team is crucial to formulating the right strategy and preparing an accurate case within a short timeframe. Mr. Đ.’s case stands as one of the high-pressure, urgent success stories handled by FCG.
Upon taking over the case, FCG’s immigration attorneys immediately filed a motion for a continuance to request more time to prepare. The Immigration Court granted the request, giving our team the necessary breathing room. Following this, the FCG team meticulously gathered and prepared comprehensive, robust documentation and evidence to protect Mr. Đ.’s rights, ultimately submitting a formal motion to terminate deportation proceedings to the court.
Successful Outcome: The Immigration Court agreed to terminate the deportation proceedings, allowing Mr. L.H.Đ. to remain lawfully in the United States.
Once again, FCG congratulates Mr. L.H.Đ. on successfully avoiding deportation and securing his right to continue living and working legally in the U.S. We are proud to have walked alongside him throughout this journey and are thrilled with this successful outcome.
